New Leadership

Tony and I are looking forward to leading Ring and Hillendahl this next fiscal year. We want to continue the great programs you already have going and maybe create some new ones. Tony loves graphic novels and loves sharing them with others. Hopefully he will bring a new perspective to young adult programming. (Not that Kathy isn't great: she's so great I'm stealing her for HIL) Here's to good times ahead!

Shelving during SRP

An amazing thing happened.  For a brief fleeting moment during SRP, only two carts of books needed to be shelved!!

IRS Tax Forms

Hello-

When attempting to place IRS tax form order, there were some problems.  Please do not tell customers that additional forms were ordered until I receive confirmation the order was received and that the items are in route.

IRS Forms

Hello-

Ring has just ordered a new batch of IRS forms.  Hopefully, they will arrive within 10 business days and will provide our customers with the information they need.  Among those items ordered are the 1040 EX and 1040A instruction books.  If anyone requests these items, please tell them than an order has been placed and, hopefully, the items will be received within two weeks.

Fire Drill

Hello-

Thanks to all for the oustanding Fire Drill we conducted today.  Gwen Walter, HPL's Safety Officer, was very pleased with our results of getting the building evacuated in 1 minute and 5 seconds.  Great job!!
